The Dragon

Tacky FH rubber, serve-attack combinations, dominant forehand.

Classic Chinese-style play: a devastating forehand loop built on a tacky rubber, an iron-solid short game, and explosive serve-and-attack combinations. Your FH is the signature weapon β€” everything else serves it.

Training Drills

1

FH Loop Against Backspin

15 min

The core drill for any Dragon. Coach feeds heavy backspin to FH zone. Brush upward with a full body rotation. Key: don't rush.

2

Serve + 3rd Ball FH Attack

12 min

Serve short to backhand, opponent pushes, you step around and FH loop to any position. The bread-and-butter combination.

3

Short Game: Push Variation

8 min

Practice short pushes and flicks near the table. Dragons control the game with their short game before unleashing the FH.
